Posting comments

For those who are new to "blogging" (myself included), please don't be shy about posting comments. You will have to register for an account, but that only requires a username, password, posting name and email address. You can do it quick as a flash. I need your comments to validate my worth as a human being! I need! I need! I need!

In my limited experience in Europe (I lived in The Netherlands for 10 months in 1990-91), I ran into just about as many religious folks at the University I attended as I did at the University I attended in the States. Can you provide some public opinion poll or something similar that indicates the majority of Europeans have lost their belief in God? I wonder if it just might be your experience that leads you to this conclusion. An experience that runs counter to my own.

Thanks Monobau. I agree with Joel's response. Any poll data?

How can you explain vestigial organs, evolutionary histories, palentological data, biogeography, the independent congruence of hierarchical taxonomies based on morphology, or protein and nucleic acid taxonomies. To deny Neodarwinian theory (aka "new synthesis of 40s) is equivalent to denying the existence of atoms. Al

You obviously are more of a scientist than I. I suppose if I comprehended your post, I would be more persuaded.

I'm more of a philosopher, so go easy on me. I'm slow but sure-footed.
