Hiatus
As my many readers have noticed, I've been on hiatus for a while. I've contemplated re-inventing the blog as more of a journal, rather than trying to be all profound-like in every post. I could flood the blog with philosophy -- the fruits of the recent grad work, but I've been hesitant. The audience is limited, and those who would be really interested are likely to find it wanting. So, I'm open to suggestions. Keep the old format, or go to a journalesque approach, or go straight philosophical? Or something else? Or just let it die a natural death?

Chris,
First Happy Thanksgiving! I have read more than one of your postings so I may comment on more than one here. If I am breaking any rules, please forgive, I do not blog often. to comment on this post: I believe that a blog is designed to share thoughts. The style is unique to you. It shouldn't be hard work. I also appreciate some of your other postings. In fact, I ended up here in a search for dubble bubble bible books. I gave them out to my students last year as a gentle witness, affordable to share with over 50 teenagers. Wrappers were around the school for weeks, but the gift was simple and the students knew and know today where I stand. At the store, Santa was on the chocolate bars and his red-nose reindeer could have adorned other candy gifts, but I bought gum. This year duddle bubble is selling a bank. No Jesus. Not a witnessing tool. I won't be buying it. Granted, without the proper spiritual guidance, such items: napkins, paddle balls, bubbble gum bibles, could leave our young ones lost in the commercialism. But, we are not to limit the story to Sunday Morning, Bible Studies, or the realm of untouchable Believers either. Deut 6:4-9 I believe there is a place for such things...gentle reminders to those seeking.
Thanks Anonymous! I enjoyed your comments. Shalom.
Do what thou wilt (sorry, couldn't resist). I think you should make the blog whatever you want it to be. I'll check in regardless and comment when I feel confident to do so.
Either way, it's good to see you reemerge. Please, don't let it die.
Chris, I like your combination of things you enjoy and personal reflections on life as well as the occasional silly video. I enjoy those things together because they are all so very "you". I wouldn't change anything. I like a little cowbell video with my intro to philosophy. :)
